What Cloud Browser is

It is a remote browser for delegated work, not a personal session carrying your credentials.

When a connected app cannot complete the job directly, ChatGPT can use Cloud Browser to visit public pages, read information, compare options and enter data in supported fields. It can continue in the background and pause when it needs context or confirmation.

It does not share your computer browser session. At launch it cannot sign in, use a password manager or complete payments. The desktop built-in browser is different: it lives inside the app so you can follow, inspect and annotate the page.
